Hello Kitty Cupcakes
A dozen regular sized and 16 mini cupcakes with a Hello Kitty theme for a little girl's 7th birthday. The mini cupcakes were for her to take to school and share with her friends, the regular sized cupcakes were for her birthday party. Hope she had a lovely day!

First giant cupcake!
I was asked to make a giant cupcake for someone at work to give to her friend on her 40th birthday (coincidentally the same person who asked me to make the mini cupcakes for her birthday! Was difficult to keep this one a secret when taking them all to work at the same time!!)
There are two shots. One without and then one with the flash on. The butter cream isn't quite as salmon as it looks in the first image!

Mini cupcakes
A selection of mini cupcakes I made for a friend who is a teacher. She wanted them to take to school to share with her students on her 40th birthday.

Wedding cupcakes
These are the cupcakes I made for a lady called Vikki to tie in with her wedding theme. Please note I did not make the wedding cake, just the co-ordinating cupcakes!

Purple rose cupcakes
These cupcakes were made for a 30th birthday party with a purple theme. Decorated with hand-made sugar paste rose buds and co-ordinating daisies and sparkly stars. I also made the topper on the cake at the top of the tower. Unfortunately, the photos were taken with a phone camera so don't give a 100% representation of the real cakes!
Birthday cake
This is the first cake I've iced. It's covered with sugr paste icing and decorated with sugar paste flowers and butterflies that I made with a sprinkling of glitter and finished off with a pretty ribbon.

Charity Garden Party cupcakes
Here are pictures of around 75 cupcakes that I donated to a garden party, which was being held today to raise money for The Aurora Centre. This is a charity that runs beauty salons based in both Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Mexborough Montagu hospital, with a new premises due to open up in Bassetlaw - their clients are people who are undergoing treatment for cancer, along with their relatives.
Their aim is to improve the lives of those affected by cancer by offering free of charge expert techniques, including beauty therapy to improve body image for patients suffering from the effects of cancer and the side effects of treatment. They offer: pamper days, advice on hair loss, therapeutic massage, make-up advice, eyelash and eyebrow enhancement, skin care and they have recently introduced therapies for male clients too.
The garden party was a great success, raising £700 for this very worthy cause and I am proud to have been a part of it.

100 and something cupcakes...
I was asked to provide 100 cupcakes to a school in Leeds for their end of term staff presentation. I ended up making a few more than the 100 ordered. Moist vanilla sponge with butter cream swirl, topped with juicy fresh berries, sweets, biscuits, sprinkles, glitter and more! Enjoy!
